# Billing (/docs/user-guide/billing)

Open **Organization Settings → Billing** to see your plan, what it costs, and how much of it you're using. Billing belongs to the organization, so every brand in it shares the same plan and limits. Only organization admins can change the plan or buy add-ons.

Annual billing is ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Every plan includes ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews by default; see [Platforms](/docs/user-guide/platforms) for everything else you can track.

## Changing Plans [#changing-plans]

Pick another plan on the Billing page. Switching takes effect immediately, and Stripe prorates the difference. Expand **Compare all features** to see every plan side by side.

To update your card, download invoices, or cancel, click **Manage billing** to open the Stripe billing portal. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can restore it from the portal until then.

## Add-Ons [#add-ons]

Two add-ons can be bought on top of a plan:

- **Extra platforms** — Track a platform beyond the three your plan includes. Priced per plan: $15, $39, or $79 a month each
- **Extra premium pairings** — More grounded, cited answers from premium models, on Growth and Pro, for $5 a month each

Change the quantity on the Billing page. Before anything is charged, Signal shows a confirmation with the exact prorated amount. Once you confirm, an increase is charged to your card on file right away, prorated to your renewal date, and every renewal after that includes the new quantity. Reducing a quantity charges nothing now; the unused time comes back as a credit on your next invoice.

You can also add extra platforms when you first choose a plan, and they're preselected when you create your brand.

## AI Answers [#ai-answers]

Usage is metered in **AI answers**: one answer from one platform to one prompt. Your plan's monthly allowance covers every tracked prompt on every included platform each day, your premium pairings, and all of your Run Now audits, so a plan used as sold doesn't run out. Only successful answers count; a failed attempt never uses your allowance.

The Billing page shows **AI answers this month** beside **Brands** and **Tracked prompts**. The allowance resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC). If you run out, scheduled runs pause and **Run Now** is unavailable until the next month begins.

## Payment Problems [#payment-problems]

- **Payment failed** — Tracking continues for a few days while Stripe retries the charge. Update your card from **Manage billing** to avoid an interruption
- **Tracking paused** — Payment is more than a week overdue, so tracking is paused. Your data stays readable, and tracking resumes once the payment goes through
- **No active subscription** — Tracking is stopped until someone chooses a plan. Your existing data stays viewable
