# Brand Setup (/docs/user-guide/brand-setup)

## Your First Brand [#your-first-brand]

After your plan is active, Signal asks you to set up your first brand.

1. Enter your brand's **website** (for example, `example.com`) and click **Continue**.
2. On **Choose which AI platforms to track**, select the platforms for this brand. Your plan includes three, and any extra platforms you bought at checkout are already selected. The counter shows how many of your platforms you've used.
3. Click **Complete Setup**.

Signal then takes you to the [prompt wizard](/docs/user-guide/prompt-wizard), which researches your brand and suggests competitors and prompts.

## Adding More Brands [#adding-more-brands]

Each plan includes a set number of brands per organization: one on Starter and Growth, three on Pro. To add another, open **Organization Settings → Brands**, click **New Brand**, enter its **Brand Name** and **Website**, then choose its platforms.

If you've used every brand on your plan, Signal points you to **Billing** to upgrade. Need more brands than Pro includes? [Talk to us](mailto:signal@metricshive.com?subject=Sales%20Contact) about an Enterprise plan.

## Managing Brand Details Later [#managing-brand-details-later]

Update a brand's details any time in **Settings → Brand**:

- **Brand Name** — Your brand's name as it should appear in AI answers
- **Brand Slug** — The short name used in the brand's URL in Signal
- **Website** — Your brand's primary website
- **Additional Domains** — Other domains your brand owns, like `blog.example.com` or `shop.example.com`. Citations to these count as your brand's citations, and existing citations are reclassified immediately when you change them
- **Brand Aliases** — Other names AI answers might use for you, such as sub-brands, product lines, or abbreviations. Aliases are used to find mentions in new answers

Click **Save Changes** when you're done. To change which platforms a brand is tracked on, see [Platforms](/docs/user-guide/platforms).
